Ski For Light Resources

Ski for Light
Our parent organization. Michigan Ski for Light sponsors Guides and Participants to this week long event. Some of the locations where Ski for Light has been held include Granby, Colorado; Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Anchorage, Alaska. We encourage everyone to attend this event at least once. Guides are always needed.

Ralph A. MacMullen Conference Center
Is where Michigan Ski for Light has been held every year for the past 30 years.

Roscommon Higgins Lake Lions Club
Michigan Ski For Light's annual event could not happen without the generosity and help of the Roscommon Higgins Lake Lions Club. They help in so many ways, including providing transportation to the ski areas, grooming trails, providing snacks and beverages to skiers, building fires, and more. We cannot say thank you enough.

Redderrennets Venner (or "Knight's Race")
Is the grand daddy of them all. The King of Norway started this to encourage all to experience the thrill of winter sports. MSFL members Nino and Marie were selected to attend in 2011 by Ski for Light.

Cross-country Ski Headquarters
Located near Roscommon Michigan provides the ski rentals for our January outing.
